This volume covers the Hearn and Stanley families, tracing them from their earliest known origins in the Tudor and Stuart era, through to the dawn of the 20th century, utilising parish records, newspaper reports and various other sources, which are drawn together to give an account, as complete as possible, of each family and their development. ​
