This volume covers, in detail, eight prominent  British Romany families, Grey, Hall, James, Lee, Locke, Loveridge, Shaw and Small tracing them from their genesis in the 16th, 17th and early 18th centuries through to the dawn of the 20th century, via parish records, newspaper reports and various other sources, which are drawn together to give a complete as possible account of each family and their  subsequent development.
